: WHATS THE BEST WAY TO START SEEDLINGS?

Many people choose to use cotton balls to sprout them. This is done by laying a bed of cotton wool in a watertight container (less than an inch thick). Add water until the balls are saturated, but not swimming. Then lay your seeds on top and put another cotton ball over the top. It's a good idea to get a felt marker and putting dots o the covering cotton ball so you know exactly where it is. Add a PINCH of salt, that's all they need. Leave them in a dark spot (desk draw is ideal) and check after a couple of days. Do this until the seeds crack and a little white thing pokes out. Place them in some nutricius soil with this white thing pointing down. (Make the hole with a normal ballpoint pen as most people have them lying around the house). The seeds should not be more than a couple of inches deep. They’ll pop out in a few days. Water them every second day. NEVER OVER WATER as the plants can withstand a little dry but they'll probably never recover from root rot!

Remember that as plants grow they will need more water. Naturally a large plant in a small pot require than the other way round. Transplanting too many times is also not a very good idea as it shocks the plants and provides a lower yield every time you do so. So first put them in a small container wait till they're about 3'' tall and then into 36'' pot should do it. So if you don't like having to water your plants twice a day just give them a HUGE pot and water it vigorously once or twice a week. Your plant will also grow to how large the pot is (depending on strands) so that's another good idea to not scrimp on the pot size.

I how that helps you out, happy harvesting :)
