I (hypothetically) have a 20 day old plant, grown under 2 (40w) flor. tubes. Temp is 75 day (20 hours), and 65 night (4 hours). Humidity is 20-40%. At the base of the stem, the skin is splitting from the ground up, about 1cm, and showing a light green, very moist, interior. The plant seems healthy. Is this bad, and if so, can I do anything about it? Also, (first time grower) the plant is about 3 in. tall and so far has 3 pairs of leaves, with a couple more barely visable- is this normal growth? Any suggestions if not? Thx in advance!!
