HElp white spots on plant - looks like mould it is furry. No damp won't cure - New growth on mom doesn't have it only old leaves. What disease and what cure?

You have powdery mildew. It is caused by humidity that is too high. Lower your humidity. Once the mold is there it is hard to get rid of. Improve your conditions and you will have better luck next time. I run a dehumidifier, four wall mounted oscillating fans, and a 3/4 hp. sqirrel cage exhaust fan with ten inch ducting to combat this problem. I had powdery mildew with my first crop. Since I got the dehumidifier, there hasn't been any sign of it.

One other thing guru - I didn't give you too much info - but we have a pretty well ventilated system - no b.s. setup. Anyway - We will still increase the fans and defintitely do the dehumid because I definitely think its the key.

sulphur sprays can be bought to combat this aswell. a sulphur burner is a good idea.
