i have 2 females, they are 4 feet tall and on the 25 day of flowering. i am seeing the largest 3 or 4 leaves turing pale yellow and browing in spots. the smallest leaves near the bottom are yellow also. i am doing a lot of research and am wondering is this nitrogen excess? i am growing in a hydro resivour and they are under a 1000 hps light. this is the first garden i have made, and i am wondering if i should take action on trying to fix this or is this normal. is it normal for a few of the older large leaves to turn and wither? it is not effecting the whole plant Yet. any help would be great. if you need more info just post.

im not sure about hydro but in soil some of the older leaves do go yellow and drop off.

even some of the largest leaves half way up the plant? what is a good sign that it is a nitrogen problem. i am looking at some books but i could be trying to over analyze it. thanks for your help i am looking threw the older posts and you know your shit.

yeah i know my shit about soil. not much about hydro. anyway. plants leaves do turn yellow when they arent getting the right ammount of nutes for them. for flower you want to get a nute high in nitrogen (the second number)

First of all the second number is phosphorus and that is what you want during flowering your plant. Nitrogen is what you want to veg. your plant. I dont know about hydro but with soil some of the older leaves on the plant do dry up.
