Did I read recently that British Columbia is now more open as far as the 'evil weed'is concerned. Seems like I saw something imlying there are cofee shops similar to Amsterdam. Surely this was a dream as family ties take me to Seattle often enough & Vancouver would be an easy reach.

Yes, I live in the northwest. I am about three hours from Vancover. I love going to the coffee shops. It is kinda like A-dam, If you go downtown Vancover to Hastings& Cambie their is a coffee shop called Blunt bros. You can sit and toke all you like injoy some good coffee. But there is no buying or selling!! You need to bring your own!! But not to worry their are plenty of people outside the shop hanging out on the coners selling. Go have fun! Dont bring shit back!! After 9/11 the border has beefed up on security!

Yes!!!! The wonders of living in BC. I live in south western BC, 5 min. from the USA border and 20 min from Vancouver. The attitude toward pot here is quite relaxed. BC is becoming known as the Amsterdam of North America. You don't have to hide to smoke dope. Most people don't look twice if you are walking down the road smoking a joint. There are hydroponic stores everywhere, and in many upper class suburban neighbour-hoods the air smells sweetly like buds. It is a HUGE industry here!!!!! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!! I wish that every one could visit, just to see what it is like. Beautiful British Columbia.... For more reasons than the scenery. ;-)

ilive a hour from vancover and in my town as long as you just act like its a smoke and walk wile you toke you dont usualy get busted but if your acting suspisus and stansing in a group pasing it around you will get busted
