Nice man. Dude wish I had some tables still. Haven't had any since about 06. Never owned any techniques, would have liked a set. First tables were numark belt drive BS and then some cheap stanton direct drives. My last set was some denon digitals with MP3 those were fun because I could just download mad Mp3 and mix them up no prob, and have a shit ton of songs on one CD. So you use wax paper or anything under your slip mats? Seems last time I fucked around with actual tables tons of people were still doing that. Now all I got is that busted as virtual DJ program on the desktop, but would stilll rather have something cheesy like some american DJ digital tables to play with.
naw i dont got the paper underneath, jus slipmat on top of the deck....i dont wanna get it confused....im not any kind of great dj.......when i first got my tables they were cheapo belt drives....... it was all i could afford to do hip hop.....but after about two months of fuckin around the mixer broke....cheap gemini chit, i could never afford to replace it.........by the time i finally could afford to replace the tables and mixer i could also afford to buy a sampler......and makin beats has kinda taken over......ill still throw on jay-z point out the bounce and juggle that from time to time haha........bout 70 percent of my beats have scratches tho...all done by myself, i can pull off the basics actually a local rapper jus asked me if id be interested in spinnin for him at his live shows so......i need to hook up with serato tho$$$$$$ i need to invest in another light hahahaha. heres my rekkid collection....there isnt much rap......i mostly collect old rekkids to sample......., thats also why i want serato, so i can get down with all my mp3's, plus i could scratch my own vocal samples.....dope dope...... all categorized alphabetized and logged in my computer by my girlfriend in some spreadsheet program from microsoft that she knows how to use. yo man you should check into a midi controller for that virtual dj program.....a dj buddy of mine used to rock it when he first started out.....still got decent mixes with it......
