need some help please

I'm just starting out and I saw these lights called t-5's, I just wanted to know if these whould be better then a normal floruo's (maybe as good as an hid ) just wondering also here is the website on ebay

T5's are a bit better than reg. floros.

 

I know they are better but try to read the whole post I was trying to go the cheaper route but they helped make my mind up on the price and quality of light!!!!

 

lol, no those lights aren't worth it. first of all, it is 99$ for the light, then 40$ for shipping, so about 150$ total.. for only 10,000 lumens. you can pay 125$ for an HPS or MH, that gives off 45,000-55,000 lumens. not only is it cheaper, but you get upto 5 times the light!

t5's are an exception to the rule on flo's as far as lighting goes..but i would still only veg under them..and use the HID for flowering.

 

T5's would be great for veg, but if you wanna pack on the big buds you'll wanna get an HID system.

 

Have you looked into CFLs they are very good for veging and less expensive. 400 watt HPS for flowering.
