Recommendations for mother plant
I finally decided to keep a strain around. I just started flowering 5 of the 7 NL feminized seeds so I still don't know if they are females yet. I am keeping 2 in my veg chamber and have been keeping the lights on 24/7.
Do you think 18/6 is better at this point? Plants are about 4 weeks old from seed. I am using CFL's and they are doing great for veg! Any other recomendations for cloning the vegging plants would be great? Thanks,

after u flower them all out u should keep your favorite phenos for ur moms

Take a clone or two from each and label them all so you remember where they came from. Once you've budded the plants you pick your favourite one or two and keep those clones from the plant(s) you chose and keep them as mothers.

So, do you think I can flip the lights to 12/12 on all the plants and take 1-2 clones say in 2 weeks. They are showing alternating nodes but have shown sex yet (duh)

flower them all after you take your cuttingsthey will root faster & start growing sooner..it takes about 2 weeks to get good roots from a clone in veg and longer if the mother was in flower pluss it takes a month or more to get them to revert back to veg ...that is a longe time to mess with weak plants . i mean they are re programing themselves to root& reveg at the same time . i feel its too much stress at the same time.you can always throw the ones you dont like away ...i clone em, as soon as i have roots i flower the mother
 yep thats what i do and now i keep a mother plant in veg also

i agree any time i have taken cuts from a flowering female it takes about 40 days to revert and show any progress. take clones now, label and keep the best. it will also help you learn how to take care of your mother in veg.
