I know it's ClayStreet's job, but I haven't seen him around since Feb., so I thought I might be able to fill the void. I'm no professional, but I can throw around some things on Photoshop, and I would love to make some avy's for any GK'er that wants one.

It's funny, MrD. The avatar looks more like Bull (new one). Mort/Astro is/was strongly American. Bull is Mostly German; I can see alittle American.
Different body 'style', darker markings, different bark. Americans, IMO, always look harmless. Germans have that meaner look. Bull reminds you of the dog in The Omen, Farris Bueler, etc.
There's alot of Rott drawlings that don't look anything like, right Chris?!
That being said; I'm alittle judgemental re: an artists rendition of a Rottweiler. That avatar is a nice Rott. You can tell tC must have a clue about dogs. Probably a dog person (can't remember; think he has dogs).

Who makes that? Looks like a bushmaster. What is it chambered 5.62 or .308? My old man has the family armory at his house. He has his FFL so everything stays with him. I am also not allowed to take any auto's out of the house without him present. I shot my first gun at age 4. It is a ruger blackhawk in .38 it's still in the family. To my knowledge since my great grandpap who gambled and drank too much no one in my fam has ever sold a gun only purchased. We actually have 2 rifles that break down into peices and have special brief cases. My pap bought one in germany at the end of the war it has no stamps or numbers at all on it, only a set of intials under the buttplate it fires 6mm. The other was acquired by my dad back in the 80's in a bar in mckees rocks. The same guy that sold it to him had Laws rockets and a handful of pineapple grenades for sale aswell my dad laughs when he tells that story. He says he regrets not buying the rockets or atleast one for obvious reasons.The rifle appears to be a american made alphabet soup issued rifle chambered in .30-30. The barrel is a hexagon shape and is only 21 inches long. Kinda neat.

Hey Steel, it's a Smith & Wesson M&P 15. This is my second AR, the first is a Bushmaster. I've got an uncle with an FFL. He takes me out every now and then and lets me shoot his BAR and Thompson. Most of my guns are for hunting, but the AR's are for FUN. I've really been wanting a .308 AR10 for a while, that may be next on the list.

Thats kind of funny fighting the misses for computer time. My wife does the same thing, if I get up and go to the bathroom there's a good chance she's jumping on the laptop to check her FB or some photo website looking at pictures of our son. She has her own laptop upstairs but likes using mine more I guess.

I would love a customized avatar if you had the chance. I am a huge hockey fan so anything with the Pittsburgh Penguins would be great but I don't want to steal Chriscrete's thunder so even a pic of Evgani Malkin and some green and my favorite band is Tool so that would work as well.

I'd LOVE a custom GK avy. Just been too shy to ask before. ANYTHING would be better than the generic one I've got now. That I've seen no less than four other users using! That's what you get for not knowing shit about avatars and just googling it. lol. Anyway I'm like you... a millwork man. I love doing veneer work, furniture legs w/spaded feet all the "fun" stuff if that helps you. But seriously I'll be happy with anything.
