General Comments and Observations:I grew 2 different plants from seed and did not get a blueberry taste or smell after the bud was cured. I am going to use blackstrap molasses during flowering the next time I grow this strain. That should bring out more odor and flavor. The leaves were deformed early in the veg cycle, and continue that way through harvest. That probably contributed to a small yield since not all the leaves had a full surface area to collect light. Another error was growing 2 plants in 1 bucket, which caused some leaves to be blocked.

The way everyone acts like DJS Blueberry is the best strain ever, I doubt the Dutch Passion is that good, but it's still a fine smoke that I'd be happy to grow again.

I have a mom of this plant so I'm looking forward to more grows to see how much better I can make it.

And for the place(SeedBank) mentioned, "DUTCH PASSION", that was the SECOND genetically purchase SEEDS of Original BB by MYSELF to CROSS breed the O.G BB with the ORIGINAL BB from "DUTCH PASSION", or back then IMO, i think it was DJ SHORTS it ORIGINALLY came from, and with those 2 TRAITED PHENOTYPES, i PRODUCED an amazing O.G BLUEBERRY Phenotype, that was legendary:sign13: :bigok: in these PARTS where were from, in the AFGAAN-MAROCAN BORDERS!:)

The Original Blueberry From DUTCHPASSION is , the ONLY place NOWADAY'SIMO < , that ya could get ANYWHERE CLOSE to the O.G BLUEBERRY of OLD, ONLY "in my opinion" though.

But i dont think im far off , iff im off at all on this one:sign13: , as i searched and i searched for long enough , before meeting a friend in college, who CULTIVATED and PRODUCED Feminised O.G BLUEBERRY seeds and i then crossed that PHENO and STRAIN, with the DJ SHORT'S "ORIGINAL BB" (Or DUTCH PASSION'S BlueBerry) with an AMAZING AFGANICA from www.sensiseeds.com (http://www.sensiseeds.com) that completely wiped the FLOOR with ANY of those STRAINS in POTENCY and IN HIGHT and STALKYNESS(JUST like a lil STOUT VERY close BRANCHY CHRISTMAS tree, with around an EASY yeilder of approx 3-4 Oz Per PLant, in a TOTAL HIGHT of around 45-54cm , Which is a FANTASTIC result in WEIGHT from HARVEST, and AROUND HALF a METER wide so around 1 metter SQ APPROX too, so all in all , i REALLY DID produce a PHENOMINAL phenotype of , what i HAD TO CALL it http://www.growkind.com/forum/images/icons/icon12.gif .........>>>>> O.G BLUEBERRY, which ya all saw a GROW of :bigok: :sign13: :)

I have 2 blueberry plants, one is perfect the other is well...deformed, the perfect one has fat huge wide leaves, the deformed is a sativa narrow long leaves...looks totally diff than the other blueberry and at 4weeks flowering the deformed one has no buds whats so ever....good thing I didn't take any clones from that one, the perfect one, the buds are huge at 4 weeks, bigger than my white widow buds, which are smaller than the blueberry, but it should catch up.

I've read somewhere that when at 70 days of flowering that the Blueberry will hit and growth splirt or bud explosion, your right big buddie, that Blueberry is more potent than the Dutch Passion White Widow.

In all my time of smoking, i've never had the chance to smoke any good bud, I mean dont get me wrong here in Texas, we get ok stuff, but compaired to up north, it's dirt, I did get some good bags every year, around christmas, I called it KGB, Killer Green Bud, but that was some good stuff, but from what I've read from your post buddie and Happy, that I'am going to fall in love with that Blueberry, I'am glad I got into growing, or I wouldn't have gotten a change to smoke some good quality bud. Can't wait to feel the high of the Blueberry.

Yeah Scorpio,a GKer passed on a tip to me when i was growing 'original blueberry' and they told me that just prior to harvest to leave in darkness for a coupla days then turn lights on and flush to give a growth spurt,i tried it and i DID get a growth spurt,now i dont know if this is just a bluberry tip but now i use it on ALL my strains,most seem to respond but then again in the final weeks the plant does end to go through a growth spurt anyhows but i still do it all the same....put it this way 48hrs with no light at the end of my flowering aint gonna do my plants any harm anyway.Peace:ebert:

Same here TheApprentice, I've heard the same on the White Widow or Dutch Passion but any kind should do, that they leave the plants in a 2 day darkness, something like flush your plants at the last 2weeks untill harvest, and let the soil dry out, then leave them in a 2 day darkness and then turn the lights on, I dont know an hour?, just to make the plants think it's morning, which will be at the peak of the THC production. The thing for me is, should I let my Blueberry go 70 days or chop on the same day as my White Widow? If I do the 2 day darkness wouldn't that affect my Blueberry, because the White Widow will have to be harvested soon. My chop date will be around 9weeks, just give it an extra week to grow. Just want to let you all know I cannot wait untill harvest, can't wait to smoke the best on the market, even though their might be better than the White Widow and Blueberry, I say I'm in for a hell of a trip. I've tried everything to get my Blueberry plants to change color like the one in the pics, I just put a fan in the closet at night to lower the night temps, but nothing, anyone know how to get the buds to turn purple or blue? Really need help, if not I might need to germ some more of my Fem Blueberry seeds.

Ohh, this might be the problem this helps so much thanks mary, was you bud lime green and had orange hairs, before the chop? I was thinking it would turn purple/blue, at the end of the flowering period.

Checked out the Grow report of the Blueberry on the Dutch Passion website, they say that a colder temperature will bring out the Blue hues and purple, I keep the ac on in the day, but I put a fan in the closet at night, and my ac is just blowing in another room, so it's not in the closet. I might just put the plant in front of the ac with a temp of 66 F, would that work?

I also have 2 WW going with the 2 Blueberry plants, don't know if I should harvest at the 9th week for the WW. I'm at 8 weeks and 4 days, don't see much amber color yet, but it's cloudy. It should be mature at 56 days, which has passed but will it give me a couch lock stone?

The Blueberry for some reason has a huge yeild, bigger colas than my WW, but my other BB had a leaf def, the leaves were very long like spider like, sativa but much narrow, low yeild, glad I took some clones from my huge BB, the leaves on that where wide, perfect, the best I've seen.

Update, I have flushed all my plants my 2 WW and 2 BB.

With the Dutch Passion Blueberry, I now just keep it in the front of my AC at a temp of 66 F, an hour before the lights go out, also, I keep a fan on low, on during the night(dark)hours.

From the looks of it my Blueberry was lime green, with orange hairs, this is without a fan at night.

Now that I added a fan at night and did the AC and hour, I now see some small bud leaves that are turning purple, this is a very good sign!!!! Happy!! even though all the fan leaves are dried up and yellow, I have some bud leaves that are green, and now are turning purple thanks to the lower temps at night.

So for anyone growing a Dutch Passion Blueberry grow, make sure at the last 2 weeks of flowering, lower your night temps, this will bring out the true color of the Blueberry, the purple and blue hues, that will also cure to a lavender, color. Note, this works on Purple strains..ect, bubble gum.
