I took Videoman's Idea

I was going to put this on Videoman's Odor Machine thread but it's closed I guess. Anyway I took his idea and scaled it down for my closet. I found a Home Trend 4" fan at wally world for 4.95. Then I took a large folgers coffee can and cut the inside of the lid out with a steak knife. I mixed 1 cup of water and a cap full of pine sol together, set the fan on the can and plugged it in. No drilling, or disassembly required. :)

whats it smell like with the pine, and is the fan blowing into the can or is it sucking out of the can?

Now that I read that, as far as smell, does it just reak like you spilled pine sol, or does it smell like you just cleaned your house?? Is the smell over powering?

Hey nip the fan blows into the can, the way the fan sits you don't need exhaust holes. With one cap full of pine sol, the smell isn't overpowering at all, however I am going to check out some other scents, like ONA for example. I do have to say it is doing an excellent job as is.

I noticed from your pics that your area is about the same as mine, (roughly 4x8), can you keep me posted on the scent say in a day or two. The orig from video jsut seems to large for my growing area, and this looks like a perfect alternative. I need something that I can put in the room with my plants without doing harm to them, or smelling up the joint because my room is directly off family room and right now, the skunk plant stinks so bad it constantly smells like a just lit up.

BTW, does anyone know of a good alternative to ona? The only place I kow to get ona is wormsway.com and thats a little bit of a drive to get to. Does anyone like Wally world, or K fart carry the shit?

Hey nip you might try a pet superstore or a baby superstore, and check out what they have. I didn't see much at wally world (that don't mean much, lol).

I just saw that and wouldnt you need to flip the fan around so it would blow all the air out. If it blows in its doing nothing but if you blow it out it should take the scent of pine sol and blow it into the air...

Pinesol doesn't absorb odors like Ona does, but it does mask the skunk smell to an extent. I use an open cup of pinesol sitting in my growroom and the oscillating fan keeps the room smelling piney.

I'm making a trip to worms way soon so I'm picking up ona before a start to flower, I can only imagine the smell then. Thanks for the info though, every "2 sense" helps make a buck!:)
