I'll start with an easy one

The Gravity Bong -

2-liter w/ cap
Gallon pitcher
Half Inch socket
Screen

Cut the bottom off the 2-liter put it in the pitcher. Melt a hole through the 2-liter cap use whatever works I use a solder it makes it easy. When the hole is big enough put the socket in the cap, if there are spaces around the cap seal with eletrical tap (Duct tape will work). put a screen in the socket, fill the pitcher with water up to almost the top of the bottle. Pack it up, pull the 2-liter up with a flame to the top and the bottle will fill with smoke hit and get f*cked up

An Apple Pipe is i guess lame to advanced smokers but its a cool way to smoke ganja man, all you need is:
1. A Firm Large Apple
2.some type of screen , aluminum foil will work but I dont like to use it
3. A nice thin knife, maybe a filet knife


Take your apple and core it with your knife, cut out the middle so its about as big around as your thumb or as big as a bottle top around. Now put your apple on its side and find a place for your bowl , i usually go towards the bottom of the apple, and cut a similar hole so that the two meet , from there you can see the bowl taking shape, now install your screen or w.e you use aluminum foil etc. pack her up of some ganja and lighter up. Its a cheap bowl comes in good when you dont own a pipe or dont want one around, bc you can throw it away. Ive been making them since i was a kid. And they can be made outta anything, ive seen them made out of carrots melons and cucumbers , made huge to pocket sized , Its fun to do when you are waiting on your smoke to finish dry w.e Be Creative its all in having fun doing it and then appreciate your work with a cool smoke. I call this one the lung , its a pretty good way to catch a buzz,
all you need is :
1. 2 liter Bottle
2.knife, drill someting to make a hole
3. bread bag the long type
4. tape
5. Some type of bowl, I use a Metal Screw together Pipe Bowl if you know what i mean with the top, a socket will work

ok take your 2 liter bottle and cut the bottom off right at the bottom so that its still a tall bottle but with no bottom.
Now get your top to the bottle and make a hole a tad smaller than the bowl, socket your using so it will fit snug , pop your metal bowl in and thats that,
Now you need to get your bread bag and your bottle and put the bread bag on the bottom of the 2 liter bottle so that its about a inch of bag on the bottle now pull it tight and tape all around that bottle and bag so its air tight, NOW on to the fun part after all that hard work , Take your bottle blow in it untill the bag inflates all the way to check for leaks, no leaks then push the bag back into the bottom of the 2 liter all the way up in it as far as itll go and make a little handle out the bag end making sure the bag is all the way inside the bottle, Now your primed, put some smoke in the bowl put the top on the Lung and hold it with your fingers while you light it and pull the bag out slowly and watch it fill up full of smoke, when you have the size hit you think you want you can take the top off and inhale and repeat.
Its similar to using a vaporizer bag . Gets you real stoned off just a few packs . Call it what you want, but hit it once and youll see why i call it the lung

When I was in high school I worked at Baskin Robbins. I used to make bongs out of a cappuccino cup(the clear ones with the dome lids). a couple straws and a pastry tip, and a candle.
It was pretty easy. Poke a hole in the side about 3/4 of the way up. Angle a straw downwards. Shove the pastry tip on the top. A straw through the top. Seal it up with a little wax and you are good to go. It wasn't completely air tight, and you had to let it cool down after hits, but it worked. After a while we would make them with 2 and 3 chamber. What can I say. There was a lot of extra time in the winter.

how about knife hits aka the poor mans vaporizer

supplies:
1. empty 20oz dr. pepper brand bottle(the work best conical shape)
2. pair of scissors
3. two butter knives
4. a stove preferably a open gas range but eletric still works

first take your bottle and cut off the lower two inches that have the nubs to hold the bottle up right, after doing this take the small bottom piece you cut off and cut about 5 evenly spaced slits halfway down the walls. take the top part of the bottle with the lid and hold it upside down and fill up with ice to the point that you can take the small bottom end and turn it upside down and place inside the top part of the bottle, this will hold the ice. take the the lid off and make sure you can pull air through. after that throw it in the freezer. find you some butter knives a put the tips of them in the direct flames or in between the heating element of an electric stove and let them heat up till they are red hot on the tips. while those are heating up grab your bud break it up into little balls that you think you can take in as one hit on a ceramic plate or something that won't burn.
the smoking part is easier to do if you have two people. when the knives are red get the bottle back out of the freezer and remove the cap, then take one of the knives and slightly touch the red hot tip to a little ball of bud and it will stick. so what you do is squeeze the bud in between the two hot knives and inhale it through the bottle, the ice keeps it nice and cool and these things will rip you quick, used to love doing these all the time back in the day!

oh and when your hitting it make sure you or the person squeezing the bud with the knives it keeping the knives directly under the bottle and a little up inside it to keep from wasting smoke.

"Road Warrior Apple Pipe"

I travel a lot for work and quite often need to make a pipe out of items found in a common hotel room. Here is a more simplified version of an apple pipe.

Step 1. Arrive at hotel to check-in.
Step 2. While checking in, casually mention that you are starving and could really go for a piece of fruit or something. If they don't pick up on your subtle hint, then say "Oh for christ sake, can I have an apple." Most decent hotels will accomodate this request as they usually have a bowl sitting in the breakfast area. If you see this bowl of fruit you don't even need to ask, just go grab one.
Step 3. Once in your room, disassemble the pen that's on the night stand. You want the outer tube and the inner skinny ink tube.
Step 4. Remove the apple stem, this area will be your bowl. Take the small ink tube from the pen and push it down through the core at a slight angle approx halfway through the apple. Leave it in there for now.
Step 5. Now take the outer tube portion of the pen and slide it in from the side towards the center being sure to meet up with the other section. Remove the tube and shoot the small core sample you just removed across the room and try to hit the mirror. Nice shot!! :thumbsup:
Step 6. Put the tube back in the hole about halfway. This is your mouthpiece. Load some bud in the top and your ready to go. :animbong:


This method of the apple pipe doesn't use any foil or anything else. Just a pen and an apple. The skin actually makes a very effective bowl liner and doesn't burn. I've used the same apple for over a week, and because the apple is still basically intact, it doesn't go bad.

Very effective and free.

Here's one I made in 15 min. A 1/2 inch pipe cap soldered to 1/8 tubing. The tubing was leftover from a water line to icemaker but I believe you can buy any piece you want off the roll at the home center.

I didn't have any screen so I cut a small piece of copper and drilled a few hole with my smallest bit. Works pretty good.

I use to until I heard it was bad for your lungs. Something burning off the aluminum foil. I still do it in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend it.:stop: :stop:

instead of cutting the whole bottom off just burn two small holes on either side of the bottom of the bottle so it drains slower. Then you don't have to hold it up if you brew it for somebody else and you brew more creamy tokes.

From what I heard smoking out of a copper pipe can give you lockjaw. I'm not sure if this is true, but I dont want to be testing my luck.

That actually comes from the soder used to sweat the joints. Back in the day, and it is still available today, is soder with lead in it. that is what can cause issues.

When the waters drained there is always some left in the bottom. When your wrecked and you have your hit. You pick the bottle up and spill it all down your pants!

I've also heard that inhaling metal fumes can cause the above mentioned symtoms, but I think your talking blowtorch kinda heat. A bic lighter with 5-10 seconds of exposure to the metal is in no way getting it hot enough to vaporize. Plus once you get a nice coat of resiin in it, it barely gets warm as is.

I believe most production metal is coated with some kind of rust/corrosion inhibitor though. Your probably inhaling whatever that stuff is.

Anyone for a lil so-co? I have a glass grinder and put a hole in back for a carb and put one for the "flower vase stem" on an angle. I roughed up the glass on both stem and bottle then glued with Gorilla Glue. Made a removable foil bowl, worked pretty damned good. I bought a Graffix and haven't used it in awhile, have knock the dust of her.

Im a construction worker. If you put a flame or heat even near PVC the smoke is leathal to your lungs. You'll be in the hosspital if you think your getting weed and you take a big hit of that shit. I was cutting some once and the wind hit it just right and it made my eyes water and chest throb.

I've worked with pvc and cpvc for many many years and I wouldn't even consider using it to smoke out of. As stated before, the smoke of the material is extremely toxic. Even if using a deepwell socket is risky. Just my opinion.

I've smoked out of all types of steam rollers.. They're nice. I even had a really sweet glass blown, steamroller. It was great, it had a SEA type theme, Squids, Bubbles..It was completely see through, the inside detail was all made to look like a fish..Very sweet.. Eventually it broke..
But i've never smoked out of a roller made from PVC..

I've had many nice glass pieces in my day, You could say I collect them.. But most have been broken.. Man it depressing when you break your piece..

yah true that sorry about putting that bad info out there but it would probly be okay if the stem didnt get the pvc hot at all,idk? a glass steam roller would be pimp haha im gonna buy one someday
