These babies are lookin' good. I have two plants roughly the same size going and they stink to high heaven. This strain is very pungent especially when they get disturbed. They make the vinegar work overtime keeping the smell at bay. As soon as the soil is dry I am going to flush, and wait for them to fatten up for the chop. :light:

lol @ fingerprints :biggrin: Much appreciation for the words everyone.....These girls are up on a shelf in the flower room for the final week Chop so I have limited access to them. It's best that way as I tend to forget they are still fattening up, and see them up close only every so many days. This final week will be nervy as the smell is STRONG! I doubled the vinegar, but it still is not enough. I have never had a stronger smelling strain...must be part AK47 ;)

i have read in a couple places that just a bowl of standing vinegar helps out alot with the smell, but ive never tried it and so couldnt tell you how much or any specifics...

That's pretty much it right there. At the time I didn't have any other means of odor control Canna. The vinegar works pretty well, but it's not the best solution. Once I went to an ozone generator I'll never use anything else, but the vinegar works in a pinch.

Didn't work all that great for me either, but it did cover the smell early in flower. Later on when things are really stinking it don't do much. Nothing replaces a good charcoal system or O2 generator IMO.

How much vinnegar did you use herb? Im going to be starting flowering im about a week and a half so thatd be a good idea for me seeing that I have no means of odor control right not other then insense,candles,an open window and febreeze haha. Im in a bad situation with money and thought id have something by now and well I dont and wont for a little while( bad thinking on my part)

I bought it by the gallon myself. The trick is to have as much surface area of vinegar as possible.

ooh so get a shallow pan or a shallow bucket and fill it with vinegar? Will the area smell like vinegar then or just nuetralize the bud smell? cuz I dont know if I would rather my whole basement smell like bud or vinegar. I cant stand vinegar.
