my friend hooked me up with some white widow seeds, i've smoked some before, but other than that, i know nothing about this strain. ANything i should know before i throw em in the soil

White widow is not real forgiving on newbie mistakes but if watched closely and taken good care of will make you very pleased with the strain.it is the most resinous plants i have ever grown as probably with most people.i have major trichome development wven on the fan leaves....a sure winner in my book.I have crossed a ROMxChemo plant with a male WW and the remaining stored pollen i have left will go to pollinate a few buds on this one.

what are some good popular indoor strains that a newbie could get thru harvest?

Greenthumb, over at cannibis world Shantibaba said that when you use a Male WW, the dominant genes in the seeds will be that of the WW. Most of the genepool will be passed by the male.

Budz, when you do run those widows dont rush them, They take 70 days to finish. Any sooner and you will loose out on trichome production.

a watched pot never produces trichomes'? damn that WW really lets itself fill out! 70 days!
