White KC

I've now grown 2 different seeds bought from Heaven's Stairway UK. Both seeds have been of the same genus......White KC. Has anyone else tried to grow this plant ever?

Of the two that I have managed to germinate and plant to grow, both have been female, but did not hardly even produce any Buds. The first plant grew to a nice size but only fromed enough "Bud" to smoke 2 bowls.....The Second KC is 3 times the size, been flowering now for 12 weeks and has not formed anything I would call a "Bud". There's all sorts of "hairs" all over the plant showing signs of "I want to flower" but the plant never formed any actual "Buds" just the pre-hairs sexual organs...


Now, here's some info about my set-up......I have a closet that is about 4x4x8 with a 1000 watt HPS light. The light is set on exactly 12/12 with a digital timer, and I have 2 large table fans blowing the closet around constantly. I feed my Bloom 3 part fert solution every Sunday, and only water when the plant looks like it needs it in between.

This has werked with all my other plants to date, just the KC white (Which grows very nicely until you flower, then seems to do nothing but upwards growth...)

I guess, I wrote this here to do one of 2 things:
1) stop people from purchasing this species.......or
2) Get some help on how to make this plant flower properly.......

you didn't mention how long you vegged your plants. also, did you veg til you had alternating nodes?

Oh yeah.....Sorry 'bout that! lol

She Vegged for 2 months, or about 9 weeks, I like to grow one or 2 plants for size......My last plant took up most of my closet, and gave me around 138 g's. This plant was getting quite large herself and has more than tripled in size during the flowering. The species is supposed to flower for 6-11 weeks, she's passed that now.
Like I mentioned before, it's been about 12 weeks of flowering.....and sh'es got nothing at all that I can salvage as anything smokeable......except maybe for scruff to make some oil outta......:(

Since when has the KC Brains seeds been concidered CRAP?!?!
and I guess I just answered the second question.....YES it is a KC Brains specimen......just as near as I can tell, a crappy one.
They grow great lookin plants but have no end yeld off them at all.....
I've had better luck with my Schwag Seeds....LOL I wonder why I've ever spent money on seeds....I'm gonna grow some Fruit Bowl next with a Schwag seed we call Toe around here.....(The latter is amazing pot!)

Hehehe, you know what i've always thought about those online seed companies:

If they grow enough weed to make seeds to send internationally, you know they gotta be stoned 24/7. And that's NOT the way you need to be if you wanna run a successfull business imo. Mail order is hit or miss, you just gotta find a good strain and start cloning it. I've had some success from Dutch Passion, but even that's 50/50 in my experience (usually about 1/4 don't germinate, and another 1/4 don't make it long after, then you get about 1/4 males, and 1/4 females; of which maybe only 1 is worth keeping, especially if you have some good **** already). Your best bet is to try to find someone to get cuttings from directly.
A friend of mine lived right down the street from this huuuge grow op that got busted by the cops. He said when they brought the plants outside he could smell them from inside his own house, so he went over there and watched what they were doing.
Low and behold when the cops left with all of the plants and noone was home, my buddy went inside and did some snooping. He found lights, pumps, etc, but no plants. Then he went out back and found two glorious plants just chillin. One looked almost dead, so he grabbed the other. We flowered it and it turned out to be fucking amazing ****. Our best estimate was that it was a NL or a NL cross; and he still has it to this day. Very tasty smoke.
But you gotta keep your eyes open, if you look long and hard enough, you'll find it.

I have White KC from KC Brains, I just planted them they're doing fine. No Problem great buds from the lst harvest.

Well, that's good to know.....I guess I just got a bad bag of seeds then as they've all grown in small and almost Bud-less. I've got 4 or 5 seeds left, hopefully at least 1 of them grows in right. I just started a new "Toe" plant and I've got a Fruitbowl (Sweettooth #3 x blueberry I think) waiting to sprout, gave the KC's a bit of a break as I actually need to grow some buds! lol

Does anyone know what region it grows best in? (The KC white) I have a thoery that it is a northern plant and actually requires more than 12 hours darkness through the flowering stage......

I believe you do get what you pay for with seed companies.

However, only with the companies that sell in the breeders packs! others that dont, "Emery Seeds" are full blatent rips IMO.

To top that, in personal belief, Duth Passions are one of the best companies I have purchased from and I will always trust their quality.

Now, on other hands, sounds as though you have a light leak in your chamber if they arent developing properly or your looking at em during flower a bit?http://www.growkind.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

If this is the case? they just wont form and mature??

Next could be the fact if it is a very dom sativa, she could require a more critical photoperiod??? Tried extending to 13-14 hours dark??

Then, high temps can come into play??? Extra high, andf she will stunt and slow down growth???

Last but not least.
You got **** genetics??? But even the worst genetics can be grow to potential???
