I scanned in some leaf images, as well as took some more digipics...just to see if someone on the off chance had anything else to say about my plant probs.....Please bear with me while everything loads...I really need to know whats going on...A large explanation of my tending activities will follow so that you know what I am doing and etc

Okay so I fertilize with Peter's 20-20-20....last date I ferted was 12/5 (tonight), before that I had ferted on 11/24....I just repotted some of the largest plants in 3 gallon pots up from a 1 gallon....I have fungus gnats still! (bastards just wont die), and I had bulb mites in some plants (I had to kill about 15 of them - no problem - I was running out of space anyways), but to the best of my knowledge there are no bulb mites in any of these plants presently...I am still working on the gnats....I just put a layer of dolomite powder and rock down on most of the larger plants and will finish in a few days...I will add a one time extra dose of Mg in a day or two to make sure, after that I will depend on the Peters fert mix....hope thats enough info

Does it start with the older leaves? It looks like MG deficancy. Your plant might be nute locked so your MG doses are not helping. What are you using for MG? ? If this next MG dose does not help try foliar feeding. The only other thing is ozone damage but htat is rare. I can not think of anything elses hopefull someone else will. Maybe putting this in cultivation would help maybe a lot of people do not come in here.

It does seem to happen to the older leaves..I have epsom salts......I still haven't used them yet....but supposedly if the dolomite buffers my soil then there shouldn't be nutrient lock...I don't think I have ozone burn, although the ozonator is right on the other side of a fan which pulls air out of the room, but I have never smelled it in the room even once....I think I'll wait a while and see what the re-pot did for me - if they keep doing that I might just take them out of the room altogether and baby them for a while somewhere where I can keep a closer eye on them.....

Dont you dare use EPSOM Salts!! Good god!! What kind of ferts have you been using?.. Are your plants purple, or is it just me??..CG http://www.growkind.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

you are using peters you shouldn't need to add Mg.I believe it's a combination of problems. The bulb mites and fungas gnats could have damaged the roots plus it looks like they were suffering from N defficiency and then you ferted twice with in 2 weeks? what strength nutes did you give em?

Peters 20-20-20 1 teaspoon per gallon...just started ferting - this last fert was the second fert...had plenty of ammendments such as earth worm castings so they should have had enough N to thrive for a while or so I thought...they arent that old yet maybe 4-5 weeks...

I was only going to put in a 1/2 teaspoon of magnesium per gal....thats not enough to harm them....1x treatment, impossible to overload with Mg with that small an ammount.

I am repotting the last of those ones soon.

I'll just sit and wait, I think I am doing everything I can at this time, they are growing still...as long as I dont continue to see it happen then I'll just try to give them the best environment...maybe some oxyplus or something..

No, they're not purple...just lighting effects with the cheap digicam...

Ive just checked with the wise oracle of plant abuse and she says they look to be one of two things. Either an Mg deficiancy or overfert. The fert may have accumulated in area's and made the burnt spots.

I would first check the ph. If this is fine, i would then hit em with the epsom salts. Wait 4 days then if they havn't improved i would treat it as an overfert and flush, flush, flush.

Actually I think it is Mg as well - I just noticed after looking again that the upturned leaves problem matched some pics on overgrow and the spotting was similar enough too - I will do the small treatment and I think they should be fine after that....Peters has some Mg in it...should be enough from now on....I am currently trying to get them some more space too......that will help them - they are too crowded....

A. Use a magnifying glass to examine the underside of the leaves for mites.
B. To cure a possible fertilization problem, flush with plain water (pH-adjusted if possible) at the rate of 5 x the container volume.
Ex: If if 1 gal cont's, use 5 gal. H2O
