I have very pale yellow leaves on the plant. The leaf ratio is very high and I have flushed them with a product called clearex. The leaves are yellow but not dying, the flower look wonderful, but the pistils are still completely white in the 10th week of flowering. What gives? Are there strains out there that stay white and are slow to mature like this. The flowers have filled out very nicely but seemed to have stopped now. I was going to give it another week or two before I chop it down. Any suggestions?. I am running straight water in the hydro now.

The yellowing leaves are like that due to the plant using the reserves within them.. And also, since you have been giving them straight water, its been flushing all the nutes out of the plant. Some strains can take alot longer than others..Especially the Sativa varities.I would chop off the buds that have about 75% of the hairs turning color..And leave the rest of the buds on the plant until they change..Good luck man. CG- Thanks for the reply. I know I probably sound like a newbie, but I guess that I am in the sense that this is plant is doing new (different) things from my expectations. Should I give it another week or two? I mean there is absolutely no color change at all on any of the pistils (every one is white). I'll try and get a picture posted. They do look nice other than the color.

Use a loupe and look at the trichomes, they should be harvested when the heads(?) of the trikes turn from clear to cloudy.

I have a 30X. The trich's are just barely cloudy, I don't know maybe I am being impatient but I think I will harvest. Chomping at the bit to get started on CG's GS anyhow. They have been flowering for 73 days now and have filled in nicely, I think the time is right. Thanks CG, THC dude. You two have been the most helpful on this site, wether you know it or not.

Preciate the props, if they are just turning cloudy now would be a great time to harvest. Good Luck and good trimming.
