two days ago I repotted a plant that is now 15 days old - I haven't started ferting it yet. Anyway, I woke up this morning to take a look and all the leaves have started curling and twisting up. I watered it through two days ago after I replanted it, its been fine up until now. The leaves are still all a healthy green.
Here are some pics of the problem plant - sorry about the quality, still getting used to the camera

The plant is a little in shock,That is all..It will most likely be ok..I hope you added a few drops of superthrive when you watered it.ST helps alot when your transplanting:wink: CG http://www.growkind.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Im having a similiar problem (Check my post about dark spots)

To comment if I can about plant stress. Could this problem he is having be due to the water temperature? Im just curious because my water is not warm at all and Im doing a drip system. And technically I did transplant my plants into a new home on Saturday and my problem hasn't gotten any better since. Will superthrive be nessecary even when i'm using nutrients already?

EDIT:: When I mean transplant I meant I have built a new sytem for it that is more practical./EDIT

newfie, the water should be allowed to reach about the same temprature of the enviroment. And you still want ST even with nuts already because ST has ntohing to do with NPK. It is a hormone that causes the plant to focus more energy on developing its root system.

Dude look out for Fungas Gnats. Their larvae feed on the roots and carry a deadly uncurable disease to the plants. When they begin to mess it up the leaves start to droop like that, and appear to get skinny and fold in. Eventually u can pull the plant out like a stick, or it falls over. I hate those evil little bastards.

So here's the best new anti pest method.... It's a MUST to have a layer of sand then small rocks(like perlite or whatever) on top of the soil. As long as you have a layer of the rocks or something at the bottom of the pot, it will aerate fine. But you won't have to worry about the large variety of little bastards (including gnats) infesting your **** from the top.

Do not over water, do not underwater. Buy guarenteed pest free soil, keep growspace clean and air circulating.

You'll be good to go.

:alien:I've had the exact same problem before in my hydro water culture...twisty leaves.

I gaurantee u that it'z the first sign of over-fertilization...so start flushing immediately!!!

:confused:The only problem is that u said that u have never fertilized them & that you've just only did a transplant...so i'm at a lost fer wordz on that....

They'll straighten out in no time!!!

"cupping" is usually a sign of a hot grow space.

mok your temps are fine, although misting does bring down temp by a few degrees, its only temporary and shouldnt be used only for temp problem... and Bm is right, either your show is to hot....or ya have to much intensity for those lil buggars- back the light off several inches and seee how they do...
